We don’t cut corners at Envision Style & Health, because we understand how important your vision is to you. Dr. Miller performs a thorough, comprehensive vision assessment and eye health exam to ensure that you have a clear vision and healthy eyes.

Comprehensive Eye Exam

An eye exam can do much more than determining your need for corrective eyewear. In fact, comprehensive eye exams that include dilation allow your doctor to see the early signs of both vision-related and overall health problems.


​​​​​​​When your eyes are dilated, Dr. Miller can view a larger portion of your retina, including the blood vessels and optic nerve. This allows her to see early signs of damage that could be indicators of serious conditions such as diabetes, tumors, glaucoma, high blood pressure, infectious disease, macular degeneration, and retinal detachments.

DR. MILLER RECOMMENDS A YEARLY DILATED EYE EXAM FOR:

  • all patients over the age of 55

  • patients who are new to Envision Style & Health

  • anyone with a family history of eye diseases, such as glaucoma or macular degeneration

  • patients with systemic health conditions, such as lupus, thyroid disorders, or diabetes


​​​​​​​Many patients are surprised at how mild the side effects of dilation are for them. Modern dilation medications are mild, and in many cases, you will be back to your normal activities in 2 hours.
