Medical Insurance Plans

Your medical insurance (Blue Cross, Medicare, etc.) is billed if you have a medical eye complaint or condition. This includes conditions such as dry eye syndrome, allergic conjunctivitis, viral conjunctivitis (pink eye), cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. Your medical insurance will also be billed if you have a medical condition that affects the health of the eyes (diabetes, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, etc.), as this will result in a medical eye health evaluation.

We are continually adding new plans, so if you are not sure if we accept your insurance, please call our office.

No insurance? No problem!

We understand that not everyone has a vision and/or medical insurance and so welcome patients who are self-pay. We offer a prompt-pay discount and occasionally offer special discounts on glasses. Give us a call for more details!

We also participate with CareCredit, a credit card that can be used for medical expenses including eye care, glasses, and contact lenses.

Flexible spending accounts

If you have a flexible spending account (FSA), you can use the money in your account to pay for eye examination fees, as well as glasses and contact lenses.
